Solingen-based PR and communications agency scores a second victory: Michael Tobias Content Marketing (MTCM) has been awarded one of the renowned dotCOMM awards in Gold. MTCM has received this creativity award for a series of recruiting videos filmed for the outpatient nursing care provider Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum gGmbH.
The dotCOMM awards honour excellence in web creativity and digital communication. The competition is unique in that it reflects the role of creatives in the dynamic web environment – an environment that is transforming how we market and communicate products and services. The categories of the dotCOMM Awards reflect each of the continually evolving web tools, namely interactivity, content, design, social media, video, apps, blogs and influencers, all of which are important components of digital public relations, marketing and advertising campaigns. Together, they generate branding, customer engagement and, ultimately, sales. This year’s competition received 2,500 entries, mainly from throughout the United States and Canada.
“We are very pleased to receive this prestigious award for the second consecutive year. Last year, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals awarded us for an image video of a politician, and this year it has recognized us for a series of recruiting videos on behalf of Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum. It makes us proud that our work continues to impress the expert international juries,” said agency owner Michael Tobias.
Real people, real work environments and direct communication with future colleagues: When the outpatient nursing care provider Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum gGmbH contacted MTCM to create and launch their new job portal, MTCM immediately decided to integrate videos. The creative team began capturing the inspiring work environment at Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum as well its holistic approach to care. More than 60 employees and patients took part in the videos, sharing their experiences. 15 shooting locations were scouted and filmed, with almost 1 TB of video material being produced over the course of two years (some delays were experienced due to COVID-19).
The result will be twelve short films (eight are currently available) brimming with the unique atmosphere of the individual departments at Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum. The films show how warm-hearted and down-to-earth the people at the Bochum-based outpatient nursing care provider are and how important their work is: they really do care for others. It goes without saying that these videos have become the key element of the newly launched job portal.
