The German website “beatmungspflegeportal” (English: respiratory care portal) is the biggest and only online German knowledge platform for respiratory care. It is operated by Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum, a large non-profit provider of outpatient nursing care.
The website offers a comprehensive range of information and a networking space for affected persons and their relatives as well as caregivers and doctors. As such, the platform provides a well-structured overview and a complete presentation of all players in intensive and respiratory care in Germany. In addition, the platform provides news and reports on its homepage, updated almost on a daily basis.
MTCM’s task
At the end of 2019, Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum wanted to modernize its web appearance and contracted Michael Tobias Content Marketing to develop and implement the new concept. The platform was relaunched in April 2020, with a more modern appearance and offering an easier and more intuitive search and navigation system. The databank has also been updated and can now be searched easily according to keywords, categories, federal state, and radius. All results are now shown by location on an interactive map.
