The Solingen-based PR and communications agency Michael Tobias Content Marketing (MTCM) has been awarded one of the MarCom Awards in Gold. The agency receives the internationally renowned creativity award for the redesign of the respiratory care portal (beatmungspflegeportal.de), Germany’s first comprehensive information and data platform for respiratory care. The main focus of the specialist portal is the medical treatment and care of people who permanently or temporarily require artificial respiration.
The MarCom Awards are among the oldest, largest, and most prestigious creativity awards in the world. Year after year, more than 6,000 entries arrive at the international jury consisting of communication experts. It distinguishes those works that meet an exceptionally high standard and can serve as a role model in the industry. The Awards are presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) in the USA. This year’s Awards also include communications projects from Intel, Mastercard, Nissan, and Pepsi.
“We are very pleased to receive this prestigious award for the second consecutive year. Last year, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals honored us for our implementation of a magazine for a DAX group, and this year it is honoring us for the respiratory care portal of Familien- und Krankenpflege Bochum. It makes us proud that our work continues to convince the international specialist juries,” said agency owner Michael Tobias.
MTCM was responsible for the technical and design relaunch of the respiratory care portal. The knowledge platform provides persons affected, relatives, qualified nurses, and other interested persons with free and freely accessible comprehensive information on this highly specialized medical care field. It offers an overview of all intensive care and respiratory care facilities in Germany and provides information on current developments.
Since its relaunch in April 2020, the website now convinces with a modern appearance as well as an intuitive and user-friendly search and navigation menu. Moreover, the database has been revised and offers now an easy way to search for specific terms, categories, or federal states. The results are then displayed on an interactive map within the specified radius. Specialized care services, residential and transitional groups for people receiving ventilation, nursing homes, specialized hospitals, respiratory and weaning centers (ventilation cessation centers) can be found easily and quickly as well as advanced training institutes for nurses. Information on specialist events such as symposia or specialist training, literature recommendations as well as an employment exchange complement the sections.
