tribute to creative excellence: Michael Tobias Content Marketing (MTCM), a Solingen-based communication agency, received a Viddy Award in Gold. The agency earned the internationally renowned film prize for developing and shooting a film about the sunshine4kids oasis in Sprockhövel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) announced the winners of the 2021 contest in Dallas, Texas. This globally active association has been honouring the best film projects from the communication and marketing sector since 1994.

The acclaimed film by MTCM focusses on the development and construction of the sunshine4kids oasis, from the groundbreaking ceremony through to the grand opening day. The charitable project was given some celebrity sparkle, with well-known singer Patricia Kelly joining forces with her sons Iggi and Alex to promote the nature centre.

“The expert jurors at AMCP award only the best film projects. We are thus extremely happy to be among this year’s winners. And we are proud to see that our work stands out from so many other projects from all over the world,” said agency owner Michael Tobias, whose team has been presented with a number of international awards for its outstanding communication work throughout the past years. “Our contribution to this year’s contest is very close to our hearts. The amazing team at sunshine4kids do phenomenal work in Sprockhövel, supporting children and young adults who have had a tough start in life and providing them with a very special way to experience nature in this newly created oasis.”

The sunshine4kids oasis is a place where children and young adults in difficult life situations can take time out to recharge their batteries and leave their worries behind for a while. The natural paradise in Sprockhövel created by the sunshine4kids team spans an area of about 2,000 m².

The Viddy Awards, formerly known as the Videographer Awards, are granted in a yearly international contest. It has been running since 1995 and is thus one of the oldest and most prestigious creative contests in the industry. The AMCP has rated more than 50,000 films from over 100 countries since the Videographer Awards were established. In addition to designers, content producers and other video experts, companies such as UPS, Mitsubishi Electric and PepsiCo have submitted their works in the past. Previous winners also include companies such as Dell or Bloomberg.
